Window cleaning in Wollongong and the Illawarra

Living and working on the coast means salt spray, and salt on glass quickly turns a clear view into a hazy one. Hawks Facilities Management cleans windows for shopfronts, offices, strata buildings and homes from Helensburgh to Nowra.

Clean glass lets in more light and makes a building look cared for, inside and out.

What is included

• Interior and exterior glass
• Frames, sills and tracks wiped down
• Shopfronts and entry doors
• Glass balustrades and pool fencing
• Internal partitions and glass doors
• Fly screens removed, brushed and refitted
• Water-fed pole cleaning for higher windows
• Regular schedules for retail and commercial sites

Coastal glass needs more frequent care

Salt and wind-blown grit are hard on glass and aluminium frames along the Illawarra coast. Left too long, mineral deposits can etch the surface and become difficult to remove. Regular cleaning protects the glass as well as improving the view.

Safe access

Many upper-level windows can be cleaned from the ground with a water-fed pole and purified water, which dries without spotting. We assess access at each site before quoting and will tell you if a window needs specialised height access.
